Early Years Practitioner

Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner part-time position

We are currently looking for a level 3 qualified practitioner to join our pre-school.

It is a full-time position in a ‘term-time only setting’

8.00am – 3.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

8.00am – 1.30pm Friday

Main duties and requirements

• To assist in the day-to-day routines of the pre-school
• To deliver a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities following the EYFS
• To ensure the safety and well-being of the children
• To undertake a key person role with specific children if required
• To observe, assess and record key children’s learning and development on a weekly basis
• To challenge and actively encourage children’s progress in all areas of development, types and stages of play, by interaction and extension of play activities
• A good understanding of SEN in the Early Years
